How many guys do you actually know who actually fit this bill (other 
than your eHam buddies) ?

I don't know of any.  The Hams I know are good kind hearted folks - 
maybe I live in a cave.  But I prefer to think the best of people - not 
the worst.

You do a great disservice to the Amateur Radio community by even HINTING 
that this is the norm.
