There isn't (and hasn't been for several decades) any "CW-only" spectrum
below 50MHz.

Nobody has abolished CW.  Just to make sure, I tuned my radio and CW seems
alive and well at the low end of all the bands that I could hear signals on.

The test just went away.  Some would argue (correctly) that there hasn't
been a 'real' Morse test for several years.  Doesn't mean "the music died".
