Hello Hans: I agree with your logic. I passed my Extra (20 WPM) at the
FCC Office in Kansas City before a staff engineer. Had the current system
been in place, I would have had no choice except to take the test according
to those rules.
That said, the CW test is probably history now but the technical part of the
current test could be improved a lot,(FCC rules parts are what they are,
we all have to answer to that). Just my opinion of course.
