Rig, what a nice word!

That includes this new Amateur Radio amplifier.  Great for busting 40 meter 
QRM at night.
Notice the power output.  You have to have a stiff mains line to accomodate 
this little gem.

It's very simple, really.

A radio is something you listen to music, news or the ball game on.

A rig is an amateur radio station exclusive of the antenna. Anything from an
HT or QRP transceiver built in an Altoids tin to a legal-limit setup 
requiring
several racks is simply "the rig".
