That's why I call them "audiophools", the CB'ers of the audio world.  To me 
"audiophiles" know what they are talking about.

The problem I have with audiophools is that because of those idiots (with 
more money than brains), most of the transmitting tubes hams need for their 
rigs are almost impossible to find, and when they are found, the cost is 
prohibitive.  Same goes for good quality audio transformers.

I tend to think not.  Baudot or Asci are much more efficient codes for 
teletype than is Morse.

Personally, I prefer a bug.  My Bencher paddle and electronic keyer are 
gathering dust on the shelf.  The key I use on the air is a 1929 vintage 
Vibroplex.  Even my 1947 Vebroplex Original is too  stiff and has contact 
bounce.  The well-worn 1929 model (I suspect was used for commercial 
landline service) is velvet smooth and has no bounce.
