Because it seems your bias voltage seems to be substantially below cutoff I
may not be able to "enlighten" you, but let me try.
"Space age" is a commonly-employed marketing term intended to project an
image of "modern" and "up to the minute".
Given the rather innovative engineering in this key, the term "space age"
seems appropriately applied.
