[CW] CW versus Cell Phone Text on boob tube

I seldom subject myself to television. I want to watch this CW / Cell 
phone event, with the minimum exposure to TV drivel. Could one of you 
who has already seen this in an earlier time zone tell me how far into 
the program the CW / cell phone competition is please?
