I found the excellent article I was reading - here it is.

I also send it to George W5YR as we were involved in a discussion about this 
a while ago on this reflector!

Notice that the central part of the graph shows the main signal - this gets 
wider with keying speed.  The author seems to conclude that the spectrum 
taken up by the sidebands - remains the same (doesn't vary with speed of the 
morse) but depends on the wave shape of the signal.
