[CW] CW Forever

George was an odd stick - like many CW operators but found he was a good CW
man.

You can see the Marconi Gold medal he received here:
http://www.vwoa.org/images/marconimedal.jpg

He should have counted his blessings rather than started learing how to make
fountain pen bombs.

Personally, I'd never use relinquish one of my old Sheaffers or Parker pens
to put acid into. They're meant stickly for signing QSL cards and signing
log books - I keep my log with a typewriter, but sign it with a pen, doesn't
everyone?

I found a great new ink that I use to copy CW fast - it is really black,
dark, forgery proof (super-permanent) and waterproof.

There is also a version that will write at the North and South Poles - and
is the only thing that will write there except a pencil. Polar Ink - freeze
proof and lubricated. That variety writes as fast a greased pig escaping
from the Hormel canned ham factory during CQ WW DX CW weekend.

Maybe the inventor will invent a CW variety?

David,

I have to take exception to this !

The George Rodgers episode should not and does not reflect on
your old profession or on Morse itself.

This type of psychotic and murderous behavior does not reflect on
the profession of the psychotic, but only on the person himself.

There exist types such as this in all walks of life. It's true that the
crimes are worse in their effects when the occupation happens to
be one in which public safety and responsibility is involved, such
as Radio Operator, Fireman, Policeman, etc.

But their actions cannot and must not be allowed to be a reflection
on such honorable professions.

Assigning guilt by association is also an evil, don't you think ?

It's time to stop beating up on yourself for merely being in the
same profession as this scumbag !!!

That's the way it looks from here,
