[CW] CW Forever

If I had thought about WA1TBY when the other post about "Joe" came across
the reflector, I would have posted it first instead of remarking about that
scum, George Rodgers who brought shame and dishonor to CW.

George posed as the "Hero" of the "Morrow Castle" fire in the 1930s, sending
out an SOS while the deck of the radio room was so hot his feet would burn
from the fire underneath if placed there. Later, after he tried to kill a
Detective who was a former Radio Officer who befriended him, it was obvious
to most that George was the arsonist who was responsible for the fire on the
ship and for other "suspicious" fires that followed him around.

George - like myself - was awarded the "Marconi Gold Medal" - for work on
the SOS, but George dishonnored CW and profession greatly.

I got a few requests for people to print this poem up, and I don't see that
it would cause any problem for people to do so privately.

Thanks for the post, it's refreshing to see something positive. All
this doom and gloom that has been posted lately is useless, if
anything it helps bring CW down.
