[CW] bugs on SKN ??

Wow Hans... that's good enough for me too! Indeed, anything not 
electrically powered requires similar skills-and as I said earlier, 
Ought to be acceptable. Still being in recovery from my heart attack 
and surgery (5 bypasses back on DEC 1st), there's NO WAY I can get an 
antenna up in time THIS year... but as soon as the lifting proviso is 
over (either the end of JAN or the end of FEB-need to ask XYL, she'll 
set me straight [as usual]) I'm erecting: 1) the HyGain DX-77 that's 
been languishing (NEW) up in my spare bedroom for literally years and 
years; 2) my G5RV back up in a new incarnation; 3) as large a 
horizontal loop as my 3/4 acre city lot will allow; and maybe 4) a 
40M FW (vertically mounted) loop. Then there's fixing the darn 
bandswitch cam on the Ranger II (that's probably commiserating with 
the DX-77 in the same upstairs room over lack of attention.) The ONE 
thing I can do in the meantime towards operating nirvana is to get my 
solid metal 75A4 vernier knob painted with that bake-on lacquer I got 
from Brownell's.

I had already decided to make this year a 100% bug year, swapping 
back and forth between (mostly) my GHD bug and my Vibroplex (modern) 
Blue Racer (2000?) May the best bug win!
