There are several Italian makers of high quality keys.

Pietro Begali I2RTF http://www.i2rtf.com/
and
Alberto Frattini I1QOD
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://f6iie.free.fr/clefs_i1qod.html&prev=/search%3Fq%3DI1QOD%26num%3D100%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26c2coff%3D1%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DG

Alberto Frattini does NOT have a web page but he does have email:
i1qod at inwind.it

If the link for the translation of F6IIE's web page doesn't come out
correctly - or you need a different language, just put in I1QOD into
www.google.com and you will see that page come out as the first response.

There are others -

My recommendations would be for hand keys would be I1QOD - he has both the
leaf spring "Swedish" type (Verticale) and the pivot type (Marconi 213 -
Italian Coast Station key). Alberto I1QOD also makes a very good (so others
say) manipulators for keyers. Alberto also make one of the two current
production of Semi-Automatic (bug) keys with dual levers. The other maker
of one is GHD available via Morse Express www.morsex.com which makes them in
both mechanical and optical types.

My preference for keyers would be Pietro Begali's Graciella key - it is a
version very much like the WBL V22 key.

My dream "mini collection" would be I1QOD "Italian Coast Station" straight
key, I1QOD "Semi-automatica" (dual lever bug) and a I2RTF Gracellia dual
lever low mass paddle.
