I have a NCL-2000 amplifier also - I run it in semi-breakin. I do miss the
QSK, and I've seen that "Amplifier Sequencer" but haven't bought one. It is
basically "faster VOX" than I'm using.
I replaced the relays in the NCL-2K with 12 VDC relays - so now all that
switches on 12 VDC.
Still a good amp with 1300 watts output sitting on my desk.

Subject: [CW] Amplifier Sequencer
I found this company somewhere and really liked what I saw about
their product. I just ordered their plain board (e.g. no cabinet or
connectors or wiring.) We'll see how it turns out. I have a National
NCL-2000 I picked up several years ago that had already been modified
for 4CX400s (effectively as a project by Svetlana-USA themselves-and
they did a BEAUTIFUL job of it.) My plan has been-all along-that,
since this jewel already isn't 'stock', my messing with the
sequencing & relays isn't going to hurt a thing.
So... I have some very nice HC-1 vacuum relays I'm going to replace
the RF-path relays with, and add several other relays to ground any
separate receivers being used -or, more correctly: the receiver
distribution amp-as well as any secondary receive only and noise-only
antennas. This ought to be the perfect baseline to start that with.

Since-according to the heart DR-I cannot lift more than 2 lbs for the
next 8 weeks, this is obviously going to sit around until
Spring-since I need to do some antennas and they are under the same
sort of weight prohibition.
This sequencer board applies very nicely whether you're talking QRO
or QRP. After all, you still want to ground any separate antennas,
receivers, etc.
I THINK I can resume taking care of my reflectors. I can sit up 10-15
mins at a whack, which seems to be enough to even get off the
occasional missive such as this. Thanks for all your good wishes and
prayers. All of it helped tremendously.
