Are you saying I could confuze a $1.00 bill with a $10.00 bill.

Well you're right but don't tell.  I am a certified Audio Engineer and a 
member of the Audio Engineering Society - but age does have its effect.  I 
can't hear above 12k any more and above 10k it takes quite a blast, although 
at one time (16 years of age) I could hear 19k audio - which is remarkable.

I mean...  David, at your age I doubt your ears can detect any defect in a
high bitrate mp3 file.  It is rather like my vision, not sharp enough to get
the full benefit of HDTV.
