Um, no, you need to apply the patch that MS came out with.  Do that and you
have fixed the problem.  Apply ALL the patches that MS comes out with, and
you won't have anywhere near as many problems compared to not applying them.
This still doesn't make Windows products "safe", but it takes care of the 
known problems, which is what the vast majority of exploits take advantage 
of.
