This is the english summary of our activity in San
Luis province, 2.572 QSOs, 82 hours stay.
You can have a look of some photos of this activity
and the Ombroni´s book presentation in the Gral.
Pico´s University in our web site
http://gacw.no-ip.org.
LU6UO/Q = 1.073 QSOs
LW2DX/Q = 832
LU1DZ/Q = 667
TOTAL = 2.572
The WX was very bad with cold temperatures and heavy
rain all stay long. Big problem to return via a 8 km.
rough road with a bull dozer help.
We received several request from DXers to activate
other LU provinces, like Catamarca and La Rioja. We
will see.
It´s very funny because we weren´t a real DX station
but many stations calling us.
For about 82 hours stay in each place, our score is:
San Juan /P = 1850 QSOs
Corrientes /L = 2117 QSOs
San Luis /Q = 2572 QSOs
The next activity will be harder...!!!
For the main station we used 500 W 3-500Z amplifier
with a multiband dipole 15 m high like this one
http;//gacw.no-ip.org/hertz.html
The secondary station was 300 W solid state amplifier
with a Walmar SR4 vertical for 40, 20, 15 and 10 m at
ground level.
