I place very little importance on these informal polls.  It's Sooooo easy
to load up the results with your favorite answer,  as I suspect has been
done with this latest question.  Unfortunately, sometimes I think the league
is using this polling to take the temperature of the general ham population,
despite their disclaimers.

I would like to see the league initiate a Logbook of the World type of
authentication and security system to poll the membership on important
issues.

But that's probably wishful thinking.  Preaching to the choir... I know.
