I have some 8000 plus entries now sent to both LOTW and EQSL. These are only
contacts back thru 1998 out of paper logs, plus every paper QSL was entered
into the electronic logs as well, and have another 12 years of logs to do.
This gives me a total of 331 worked, 330 confirmed, with the TO4E being the only
holdout so far.

Have been uploading logs to EQSL for 2 or 3 years or more (since they first
started), and now have 92 countries confirmed there. I also have uploaded the
same logs to LOTW, as soon as I could figure out how to do it (several months
ago) and have some 398 hits, but haven't totaled up the number of countries.

Personally, since I want the DXCC credits, only the LOTW is any good to me,
to be able to count for MODE/BAND awards and hopefully cut back on the costs of
cards/stamps/fees. I too like the physical card in hand, but really only
need one from each country, and LOTW credits are fine for the rest. Ill continue
to send cards to the buro, in response of those received, and also in order
to gain bands/modes for which no LOTW credit is forthcoming. There will always
be those who have no computer, or just dont want to do it that way. I hope
those numbers continue to drop over the next few years. Meanwhile, Ill take em
any way I can get them.

I had my first DX station, yesterday, tell me his confirmation was good via
buro, or LOTW. I thanked him for that, and I too tell all my contacts the same
thing.
