Thank you very much Bill. Obviously my concern was the possibility of just 
turning them loose anywhere.

One of the beliefs I have had for many years was to allow Novices to BE 
'nocode' but operate ONLY CW in their bands. Learn it to use it, so to 
speak. Of course, we're way beyond that.  Alas.
