Thanks to those who responded to my request. As I can see there is some
interest in this, so I thought I would elaborate.

I have a good friend who is a machinist with unbelieveable skills, and he
has expressed interest in teaching me how to make moldings in any material I
wish, as this is what he does for a living.

So I thought this Ham Key would make an ideal starter project. Once molds
are made (the easy part) popping them out like popcorn is not a problem.

The difficult part is finishing them, and perhaps that's why the Ham Key did
not have the reputation of the Brown Brothers. I'm guessing here as I have
never seen a Brown Bros. key up close and personal.

I have no intention of going into the key making business, but if this
project goes well I can see no reason I could not do a limited run, offer
them at cost to interested people.

So, that's the scoop.
