You guys in large population area might look at this twice. Wouldn't it be
nice for someone to set up a CB CW broadcast at different speeds, for CBers (or
anyone else) to copy and learn the code, with the intent that they could use
that to pass AMATEUR code tests? One or two or three transmitters set up
around the larger towns could quite obviously cover the whole population center.
Using the CB bands, versus something like 2 meters, would allow more listeners
to "sit in" on the study program, since almost everyone has an old CB
transceiver sitting around, or could easily obtain a free or very inexpensive unit
from family or friends.

By the way, I just hate it when I click on "Reply" on mailman messages, and
my CompuServe only brings up a message addressed to the original sender, and
not the group. I write the message, copy it, bring up a new message form and
paste it there. Then, copy "[email protected]" in the receive line and paste
that to the new address line. Seems like a lot of work just to reply to a
message. How do the rest of you do that?
