[CW] Dissing the ARRL

There's plenty of theory on the Extra test.  And a number of Extras that
repair their own radios.  I use a TenTec Omni D that was a basket case when
I picked it up.  $5 worth of bad caps, once I found which ones were bad.
And I'm proud that I was able to repair it myself.

Although, I doubt if I'd attempt that on a more modern radio w/ all surface
mount components.
