[CW] SLOW DOWN?

Mostly I operate semi-high speed (high speed now recognized as computer
generated [(really fast)) code). If I want to slow down, I go to the Novice/Tech
portions and work some of them. Occasionally, when I am calling CQ at around
20-35 wpm, someone will call -- whom I have difficulty even copying. I do slow
down and have a QSO, and usually a nice one. But, it has always been normal
on the bands that one does not call another ham, unless he can copy and send
at that hams rate. In no way will I ever call a station who I cant copy, (not
many of them -- but there have been some really fast QSOs ((keyboard??) which
I can copy, but could never keep up with on the send side -- so I dont call.
If I am sending, and someone calls and says QRS, I do it. If I gradually
get faster than they can copy, I recognize and slow down too.
I have seldom been on and had someone say QRG, but I can usually do that too.
HI.
