[CW] Slow it down!!

Sean, I'm sure you are right, the group must feel the same way. I haven't
seen any negative comments! I wonder, though, if it is more of a
"perception" problem than a "real" problem. If it is, then how do we remove
the perception that we don't want to slow down? This might be why I
sometimes seek those who seem to need a confidence boost and engage them at
their speed. While I agree with George about stretching yourself to
increase ones speed, sometimes, a new (maybe old?) op just needs to increase
their confidence with an easy rag chew. During those "easy rag chews" I do
mention that I've been a ham for > 25 years and enjoy CW, etc.
I still remember the feeling I had as a Novice when I completed a QSO with
an Extra. I just want to spread that feeling around.
Yes, I still get "fuzzies" when I talk about the hobby. I hope I never get
over that.
Mark, AB7MP
CW at any speed - as long as it is slow enough for me!

ANY CW operator that asks me to slow will be listened to. I want to promote
CW and this is one way of doing it. I am certain that the group here feels
the same way. Just send QRS.
Stick with it.
