I can agree with you on a lot of what you said. except for the BPL issue. 
the ARRL might have started the fight but they are very lame in what they 
can and are doing. you can check records. Who will stop BPL will be 
Homeland Security and FEMA. These Government agencies are the real heavy 
weights in the fight. All that any member has asked the ARRL to do is 
listen to them. THEY HAVE NOT. The BOD met and were GIVEN the new plan by 
the CEO and his committee. the BOD did NOT ask the membership how they felt 
as they are required to do in the bylaws. yes they may be the only game in 
town but it is time we changed the players in that game and show the CEO 
and his gang that a recall of directors is in order and that THEY will need 
to start listening to the membership
