I don't give up easily, so . . .
OK, then. In that case, in some parts of the world, the "ae"
combination is pronounced like the English word "eye."
So a better mnemonic for folks who need that sort of thing might
be the word "eye." So it's "." plus "--.-" plus "." or ".--.-."
I have no idea whatsoever what your second comment about spam means.
