I sometimes like to hear it sent like that, its a real challenge to try and
copy, although I cant do it for
very long. No doubt he and the rx op work each other all the time and have
adjusted to each other...
You never know what circumstances/health etc. are
involved as it is Amateur radio....

Gentlemen: Please be advised that there was someone on or about 7.030 mhZ
this AM at about 10:30 UTC, 06:30 EDT, using what sounded like a Vibroplex
bug. Of course, there is nothing wrong with this. However, who ever it was
did not know how to use the bug properly!! When they were sending, the
length
of the dahas to dits sounded about 10 times longer than the proper 3:1
ratio!
This made for painful listening. However, the worst part was when they
finished each letter or character there was no proper spaceing until the
next
letter; in other words the letters were run together. This made trying to
copy almost impossible and a real pain in the neck!! I hope who ever it was
who was using a bug on 7.030 at about 06:30 EST on August 25 reads this and
adjusts (PLEASE!!) his sending to send in the proper manner with the proper
dash length and spacing between letters and characters. If you correct your
sending problem, I assure you that you will make many more contacts. -
Sincerely- Sherrill W. K4own.
