Also, either an Iambic or single-paddle key used with a keyer or rig with a
keyer built in will work as well.  Just use the two wires that connect when
you tap the paddle of your choice in the direction of your choice to get a
sideways action.

How popular is the Cootie key?  I don't have one (yet), but it seems to be
the ideal alternative to keying with a sideways motion without mounting a
straight key on edge.
