Mike,

Remember the "chad count" stunt that was pulled on the new guys?  They were 
told they had to keep track of the characters received on the tape machines 
for security reasons, and that every hole punched in the tape had to be 
accounted for.  The guys would believe this as they were ordered down on 
their hands and knees gathering up all the  little pieces of chad into a 
pile so they could count them.

I'm not sure if they ever encountered a "hanging chad" while performing  
this duty.
