To my big clumsy paws, even the K2 is a tiny rig. K1 is even smaller. Of course it's huge compared to an Altoids tin...
K1 is 2.2" high, 5.2" wide, 5.6" deep. Basic 2 bander is $289, basic 4 bander is $349. Includes built-in keyer and lots of other goodies, including built in speaker. You can add internal battery, internal antenna tuner, internal noise blanker. Also external folding stand. Weight is dependent on accessories, of course. Accessories can be added at any time.
Add an antenna, key and maybe a lightweight set of cans and you're set.
If you don't want to build it there are folks who will build it and check it out for you for a nominal fee (I'm not one of them, yet.)
Or pick up a nice used one.

You can download the entire manuals free and see what makes any of their products tick.
The KX1 is smaller still - meant as a true backpacking radio. Can be equipped with integral paddle.
