Then the RM is probably not the best choice, unless you also want to carry
a tuner.  Its SWR tolerance is not very good, I'm told.

Not from what I've seen...  it's pretty small.  2.2" x 5.2" x 5.6", and
you can build it with an internal battery pack and tuner.  Elecraft's site
has a picture of one next to a 9V battery for scale.

Yes, though the OHR-400 is no longer produced - now they have the OHR-500,
which is supposed to be better.  www.ohr.com.
