Tony,
Tell me what you want and I probably can help you.
Want a straight key? I have it.
Dual padlle key, with no keyer for use with another electronic keyer? Got it.
In fact, the current PC designed keyer uses a Jackson Habor Press chip. PK1
or PK2. I believe it will also accept the PK3, and the K1EL, 8 pin PIC chip.
Modifications to the PC layout will allow it to use any keyer chip avalailable
on the market including any curtis model.
By know you can guess its not the electronic keyer portion of the design I'm
focused on but rather the paddle action.
I've been a ham for over 35 years and never found any key I enjoyed. The
closest is the Bencher models. But to me they lacked something. After figuring
it out I searched the market for what I thought would be the perfect keyer and
found nothing I enjoyed, would use, is a complete package, cost effective or
had that missising feature I wanted and or all of the above.
So I set out to design a SIMPLE paddle that met my needs and I'm sure many
others.
Without giving anything away...It works great.
So if it's not IAMBIC you seek, this product can still help. Just leave the
keyer chip off the board.
