Having worked for a few companies that made dipoles to sell, that is about the
only good thing about store bought dipoles (or any antenna), it kept someone
fed! I still use center fed "Zepp's" which did not set well with my company
as they wanted me to say I was using "their" products on the air, a form of
advertising. Since I do not work for an antenna company now I am free to say
anything I want. I still use Zepps and wires but also own a "Hye Grain"
vertical.

> How often have you heard over the air lately, "antenna is a homebrew

> ANY ham dipole was homebrew.
