Hi all,

BPL is a very important subject. BPL could potentially completely 
destroy your ability to use HF bands for any mode, other than BPL. A 
calm discussion of it does belong here, in my opinion. Name calling will 
not help anyone. The issue is important enough and the threat is real 
enough that it is understandable that people get emotional about it.

A couple questions to ponder: How far is your antenna from your 
household electric power distribution at it's closest point? How far is 
your antenna from the power utilitys distribution lines? When a 
radiating element is miles long, how far away do you have to go to be in 
the far field? How many of you already had problems with "legal" part 15 
devices causing interference to you or getting interference from you? 
Was the propblem solved easily and quickly?

This is important to anyone who operates HF and wants to continue to do so.
