Excuse me Bob... I consider your email itself to be questioning the entire
set of [CW] members, and am not going to let it pass.
1) ANYONE who expresses an opinion in public (and this reflector IS public)
had best be prepared to defend it. Whether it's this reflector-or any of
the dozens & dozens of others available within and without QSL.NET. It's
YOUR decision to express said opinion, and defending it goes hand in hand.
2) Those nasty remarks had better not be seen on a reflector I run, because
the result will be (maybe) one warning, then adios. It isn't a matter of
courage that 'they' do not remark in 'public'-it is a matter of policy. MY
policy. And it will continue to be strictly enforced.
3) I think that comment about "hemorrhoids" was a bit much. Please exclude
bodily functions and materials from future comments.
4) Finally: reasoned, thoughtful debate is always welcome at [CW] and
anywhere else I have anything to do with management. I am sorry that the
'juveniles' choose to take those cheapshots. The simple remedy for that is
your email filter and/or delete key.
By the way folks, I have NEVER yet had to toss anyone out. A comment in
private has always been sufficient. This was public ONLY because I rather
took offense on behalf of the reflector.
