The problem is that "Nirvana" can be achieved without destroying
everything in its path (2-80 MHz radio).

Has anyone ever been to Oregon and known the beauty of the forest
clear-cut? There is huge financial gain from such cuts. Unfortunately,
once it's done, it makes the area susceptible to floods, mudslides, and
erosion that permanently destroy the land's ability to be used for
anything agricultural, while also trashing roadways onto which the
landslides fall.

Some idead look good on paper, and work well in practivce.

Some ideas look good on paper, and stink in reality.

Some don't even look good on paper.

This is one of the latter ones. I have no problem with broadband services
that don't TRASH other, pre-existing services. Cable? GREAT! I even
subscribe. Satellite? Good too. Dial-up? Slow, but it works.

Implementing an idea just because it "will work" is not always a good
thing.
