VE1DS de N1EA = The Maritimes aren't that far away from W1 you know, and
ever since Boston helped out Halifax in the 1917 explosion we've had a very
close relationship, with Halifax sending us a beautiful Christmas tree every
year that we put in Downtown Boston.
Did you use the link to download the selection of the book about radio and
morse sending? It is a marvelous read.
I will repeat it for those who missed it.
Here is a selection from Raddall's book "The Nymph and the Lamp" written in
1951 by a vereran Sable Island telegrapher - Sable is called Marine in the
book.
