David,
I too seem to have a heck of a time remembering to show up for "bug night"
and like the idea of maybe trying to establish a "bug frequency".  It
wouldn't necessarily have to be an "official" frequency, but rather one that
folks could, while working around the shack, put on "speaker watch", and
maybe catch a 2x Bug QSO now and then.
