Your comment about harmonics intrigues me. Not that you guys have too little 
to do but check the TIGHAR.ORG web site for "Betty's notebook." In July of 
1937, as a young teenager in Florida, Betty was listening to her short wave radio 
and picked up what she believed was Amelia Earhart transmitting from some 
place in the South Pacific. She made notes in her notebook and all that is 
reproduced on the web site. 

Some accept this as possible while others fight tooth and nail to disprove 
the possibility. Betty doesn't know what frequency her radio was tuned to nor do 
we know exactly what the radio was.

Everyone recognizes the poor odds on this occurrence but even one chance in a 
million is good enough.
