[CW] Etiquette(SP!) question...

Gene,
I guess it is all how one individual treats this as opposed to others but I
think after a couple of tries on your part, a simple "SRI SRI OM NO NO COPY
73" would suffice. It accomplishes two things, it would let him know at
least he was being heard to some degree and bring a formal closure for you
to that QSO attempt. I don't think you need go any further than that. I am
a QRP'er and while it is a thrill to make a long haul QSO with QRP, it is
not devastating when someone cannot hear me well enough to have a QSO. And
like one gentleman pointed out, certainly a lot of credit must go to the
"ears" that hears my QRP. WElcome to the fun, satisfaction and frustration
of ham radio.

I wasn't wearing a headset fortunately. At the volume I had to be at to
pick out the CW tone, the wife was complaining and she was downstairs. :)

It may not have been a QRPer at all, he may have just been _really_ far
away. :)
