[CW] Mobile CW Operation.

Mobile CW operation by drivers should be banned, period, as should cell =
phone chats unaided by headsets or "hands free equipment". I love CW =
more than any other mode, but the prospect of just one (1) life being =
lost or injured because the driver was pounding on his "mobile" key =
while steering his vechicle is enough for me to disdain the practice. =
Fred sounds proud of his feat--I would feel remorseful if I ever =
incurred in such a crassly irresponsible conduct!

p.s. Just to save the energy of those who will surely feel tempted to =
jump and yell at my inflexible views on the subject, let me state I =
don't care how many stories are now thrown out, in response to my =
comments, by colleagues who will surely claim they've had many years of =
mobile CW operation without any incidents. So what? As a kid in the =
50's and 60's, I rode thousands and thousands of miles in the back seat =
of my parents' cars without seat belts, since the day I was first =
driven home from the hospital newborns' nursery. Again, so what? The =
fact I survived such a reckless habit does nothing to justify dispensing =
with today's requirement that seat belts be used on every car passenger. =
Mobile CW operation should be banned!
