Congratulations Gene!
I believe the accepted standard for right handed senders that your thumb
pushes to the right to make dits and your forefingers pushe to the left to
make dashes. At least in my 50 years of hamming I've never run into
anything different..BUT that doesn't mean it has to be!
Good luck...just get on the air and have fun...

Subject: [CW] Intro & Question....

Hi folks! My name is Gene Buckle and I earned my General on Tuesday.
My call is KC7AFE and I look forward to spending some serious time on CW.
:)

My question is, what is the "standard" configuration for a 2 paddle keyer?
By configuration, I'm referring to which paddle does dits and which does
dahs.

Thanks!
