[CW] Sending code via sound card

Gang,

In order to increase my head copy speed, I'm looking for a computer 
program that will take a text file and send it in code via the PC's sound 
card.  I need a program that can do 45 WPM and up.

I'd write a quick-and-dirty program in Visual Basic to do the job, but I 
haven't been able to find out how to generate a tone via the sound card.
