I owned an Omni C for many years, great QSK, tho it's "pop" AGC was a
pain on the low bands. The Omni C's weakness is 17m, as there can be
a spur due to the circuit design ... that's why I went to the TS-930S/AT ...

The Corsair II would be a great choice ... I almost went that route, but I
also SWL, so that led me to the 930S for it's general coverage on rcve.
