It's not just CW.
On 2m or 440 here (NM) you have to bring up the
phone patch to find someone to talk to.

We have huge linked repeater systems here and
you will almost never hear a young person on
freq. despite an easy codeless/theoryless ticket.
It just doesn't appeal to young folks no matter how
easy you make it !             jim
