Run your AV program EVERY day that you come on the Internet. This latest
trojan, W 32. Bugbear.B at mm was upgraded by Symantec (Norton) to severe
on the 5th. Have never seen so many pattern file updates as in the past
week or so. Those on these lists can do much damage. Keeping your computer
as clean as possible can be very time consuming. Tough. What about us who
have to contend with you. Anti-virus programs can only do so much and some
are no longer fully effective. Read the literature and see how yours
ranks. But the least you can do is use a program that purportedly does
what it claims. SOME do not check files first. If a trojan IS on your
computer, you may need to use a removal program - see McAfee or Norton or
others - to clear out some that are there, before you continue. And if
three in an office had one of the subject Bugbear trojans on it, how come?
Is your AV working, in the OFFICE? I don't THINK so. And get a program
that checks everything, including received mail before you ever completely
receive it and every piece of mail you send, before it goes out. Some
either do not work or are wrongly configured, since the machines of the
user boot too fast, and upload and download attachments too fast. And do
not wait a week and let it update itself as even mine does. Override that.
And scan your drive after every update. Don't just download the pattern
and not scan all your drives immediately. And read the documentation with
your AV program and learn how to use it properly. It could take you
several hours if you haven't done this. Have a nice day and do everybody a
big favor.Clean house.

It is probably not from the person on the list as the bugbear spoofs
internet email from addresses. This is a bad virus that will install a
trojan program on your computer allowing others to have full information
and access. Update your anti virus and run it even if you do not think you
have the virus. I found 3 machines at my office with it.
