[CW] ARRL VEC - Where do they stand?

For us who are curious as to which way the ARRL is gonna go with this
controversy, this _MAY_ provide some sort of a clue. The ARRL-VEC was at
the NVEC National meeting last week where the "decision" was made by the
NVEC to submit that Petition. I just shot off an email to the Great Lakes
Director Jim Weaver asking to inform me what the stance of the ARRL-VEC was
at the 25 July meeting. May be interesting to see where they stood with the
petition that was "overwhelmingly" agreed to. I would _THINK_ that the
ARRL-VEC would be in sync with which direction the ARRL is going to go.
Perhaps some of you on this list may want to email your Division Director
and ask the same question - I know I am curious as to the position the
ARRL-VEC took on this.
