Well, perhaps not a long time ... but I seem to recall having the
manual and schematic for both of mine here. And the Ham Radio
article about expanding the memories may have also included
some specific details? <not so sure on the last point>

Works FB, been doing that for MANY years here for both of the
MK1's off the shack's 13.8 volt DC buss.
