[CW] Autek Research MK1 Schematic info needed

Hello to the group!
I have an old Autek keyer but have no manual/schematic for reference.  I
wish to make some modifications and a repair of the AC supply which gave up
for unknown reasons.  Overheated parts but source of current draw not known
yet.  There is a jack labeled DC in, 9-14VDC suggesting that I can run it
from an external supply.  Anyone know the current requirements?  I could
just attach a battery and try it but would not like to further damage if due
to something unique about the design that I am unaware of.

So, any schematic or information or a reference would be greatly
appreciated.
