Somehow, I just can't get very worried about changes in the code, even =
though that's all I work.
There have always been changes in ham radio. Probably the biggest was in =
the 30's when
they realigned the call areas and changed a lot of people's calls.
I do think that the QRP people are going to have trouble if the CW bands =
are eliminated. I
guess that there are a few hearty souls out there who work QRP on SSB, =
but sure is a lot=20
easier on CW.
Finally, the thing that worries me about ham radio is the absence of =
young people. Years and=20
years ago, when I got my ticket, I would have learned sanskrit to get my =
license. I really wanted
that thing. Nothing, short of stupidity, could have stopped me. Don't =
see those people any=20
more.
